Dr Julia Stamm doesn't just talk about a better future. She builds it. She is the founder and CEO of She Shapes AI, a global catalyst for responsible AI innovation. A sociologist by training, she holds a PhD in philosophy and has built four organisations from the ground up. Her career spans the European Commission, the G20, non-profit leadership, and entrepreneurship. She works at the intersection of technology, governance and impact, and advises executives and organisations on human-centred leadership for the AI age.
Julia is a Fellow of the Centre for Digital Governance at the Hertie School, Berlin, and of the Royal Society of the Arts, London. She is a Founding Committee member of the AI in Media Institute, London, and a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences. Her signature AI leadership framework TRAP-PART challenges leaders to trade hype-driven certainty for genuine stewardship. Her Substack blog, Beyond the Hype cuts through the noise with grounded, evidence-led analysis. Her TEDx talk, Beyond the Certainty Trap, was praised as deserving to be "streamed on every square in Silicon Valley.”

Her career spans impactful roles in global organizations, where she led strategic initiatives, managed multimillion-dollar portfolios, and fostered partnerships across areas such as global health, gender equity and social inclusion, and good governance.

Over the past decade, she has worked with global audiences and international organizations, building digital campaigns focused on human rights, activism, and strategic communications.
